What is your pet policy?
Highland Park Apartments is pet friendly community! We welcome all pets and do not have breed restrictions. As for quantity and weight requirements, you are allowed up to 2 pets in the apartment whose combined weight does not exceed 100lbs.
How many bedrooms are in each apartment?
We are happy to offer studio units, three different sizes of one-bedroom units, and two different sizes of two-bedroom units!
Is parking available on-site?
We have a designated permit-only parking lot for all our residents. You will receive a permit for each of your vehicles on your move-in date. We also have plenty of street parking available for all guests to utilize.
What if I have a maintenance emergency?
Highland Park Apartments takes maintenance emergencies very seriously. If you’re experiencing an issue, please call our office emergency line, 515-985-2010 #1, and leave a detailed message with your name, unit address, phone number, and a description of the issue. Our maintenance team will return your call as quickly as possible.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. For more specific information about the security deposit requirement, please call 515-985-2010.
Is renter’s insurance required?
No, renters’ insurance is not required. However, it is strongly encouraged. Highland Park Apartments, does require a liability policy with a minimum of $100,000 in coverage. If you do not have a carrier, you can be automatically enrolled in the property-liability policy.
What appliances come with the apartments?
Each of the newly renovated units includes a gas stove and refrigerator.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, we charge a small application fee of $30-$35, depending on the size of the unit you’re applying for.
Can I take a tour of the apartment?
Absolutely! Our tours are scheduled Monday through Friday. Please call our office at 515-985-2010 to schedule an appointment!
Are there income restrictions?
Yes. We require the gross monthly income for the household to meet or exceed 2.5 times the monthly rental cost of your unit.
